This Privacy Policy explains how MovePilotAi (“we”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use movepilotai.com and related services.
2. Information we collect
Account data: name, email, password hash, language preference.
Move data: origin/destination, dates, household details, budget, checklist, inventory, documents you upload, chat messages with Pilot, and settings.
Technical data: session cookies, IP address (for security and rate limiting), and basic server logs.
3. How we use information
We use your data to provide and improve the Service, personalize your move plan, send transactional emails (invites, reminders, password reset), respond to support requests, and protect against abuse.
4. AI processing
When you use Pilot or inventory assist, relevant move context and your messages may be sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate responses. Do not submit sensitive information you do not want processed for this purpose.
7. Retention
We retain your data while your account is active. You may export or delete your account from Settings. Backups may persist for a limited period after deletion.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Contact support@movepilotai.com to exercise these rights.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
11. Policy updates
We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
